This purpose-built Additional Support Needs (ASN) school accommodates up to 200 students with a range of needs from mild/moderate to severe and complex. Replacing two existing ASN schools in East Dunbartonshire, the new facility spans two levels and includes standout features such as a hydrotherapy pool, a living wall, and multiple plant spaces.
Digital Support & MEP Coordination
Our in-house digital department played a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the project by providing:
- Lead MEP coordination, working collaboratively with the design team and specialist contractors to deliver detailed RIBA Stage 5 and 6 3D MEP model outputs
- RIBA Stage 5 coordination, including working drawings for mechanical, electrical, and public health systems, plus associated Builders Work in Connection (BWIC) and off-site fabrication support
- External services coordination, covering utility connections and external lighting layouts
- RIBA Stage 6 deliverables, including comprehensive asset management data and COBie outputs
- Fabrication support for over 30 bespoke multi-service horizontal modules, including prefabricated plantroom skids and spool sections
Across the project lifecycle, our digital team contributed more than 2,000 hours of expert coordination and technical support, ensuring precise and efficient project delivery.
